- Birth year and age group
Birth year first, with season age and natural age group where an organiser publishes it that way.
- Gender
As published by the organiser, including girls-only and mixed offerings.
- Location
Suburb or postcode, read against published district catchments rather than distance alone.
- Current club or involvement
Whether the player is already registered, because some opportunities require a club prerequisite.
- Current level and format
Tackle or tag, and which law set the player currently plays under.
- The next step being considered
Staying local, more coaching contact time, a trial, or simply understanding what exists.
